This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

A vintage map of The Lake Country of New Hampshire for Osgood's White Mountain Guide. This beautifully detailed map of Lake Winnipesaukee and Vicinity is from the public domain, printed by Heliotype Printing Co. and published around 1870-1890 by James Ripley Osgood. This reproduction map has been restored, converted to nostalgic sepia tone and has hand blended textures.

My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
